Adventurer vs TB

I had a 95 TB and I am looking at an Adventurer. I remember looking at it and kicking the tires way back in the day - but what is the real difference - say between a '97 TB and an Adventurer?

Are they the same except for the fender?

Thanks,
Pat

They are pretty much the same. The Adventurer has higher bars, different mufflers, and I think a 19" front wheel instead of 18. At some point it also got a different rear subframe? Not entirely sure on that.

Main differences are the rear subframe and bigger front wheel.
I might be wrong but I think the Adventurer has more front end rake.
There are some paint scheme differences, but it's the same engine, gear box etc..
Probably worth mentioning that none of the rear accessories that fit the Legend and Thunderbird will fit the Adventurer because of the different subframe.

Early Adventurer 95 thru 98
Had 18" front wheel
Subframe is different than TBird

Later Adventurer 99 up
Had 19" front wheel
And the subframe/rear fender was revised.

Accessories for early ones might be different.
ie. Sissybar, luggage rack etc.

If you are thinking of the Corbin King/Queen that is made for the Early TBirds, then NO it will not fit, unless you do some modification. Probably major mods too...

Totally different seat pan.
