Exclamation 2000 TBS Power Failure

My TBS had been sitting for a couple of months, went to start it and got up nothing. No big deal it was on old battery. Went down and got a new battery, decided on a sealed unit. Installed the battery, turned on the bike, lights came on, hit the start botton and hear a click then every thing goes black, no power @ all. Checked all fuses and made sure there were no obvious shorts. Decided it might be the battery, so took it back to the store and they tell me the battery is jacked so give me a new, supposedly good one. Install that and same damn thing. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Other Motorcycle: I wish!
When you buy a new battery, there is no guarantee as to what level of charge is in it.
It may well have been sitting on the shelf for months.

Take your new battery and put it on a slow charge (<2amp or trickle charger) for 24 hrs and try again.

Thumbs up Fixed

So come to find out both batteries were bad. Same manufacturer both completely disapated when put under load. They hooked me up with a new upgraded battery for no extra charge and we made sure that it would work under a load.

Thanks for you help!

Sounds like a Bikemaster battery...
