2000 Thunderbird Exhaust interchangeability

Hi, I have fitted on my 2000 TB exhausts part number T2201550, le LH one is damaged and would like to replace it. I found one PN: T2201500, but do not know if it is interchageable???
Some one could advise
I don't even know if the set installed on the bike is the original one, as a bit noisy.
Thank you

The left and right side mufflers are interchangeable.

Watch out for the captive nuts that are in the mufflers.
Those frequently break loose from the mufflers, thus rendering the mufflers mostly useless. Some good advice is to get a new bracket if you want to preserve the existing muffler. Leave the bracket attached to the muffler.

Denny,
about the part number, do you think T2201500 is compatible with the one fitted T2201550?
Thanks about the advise keeping the bracket fitted to the muffler.

sorry I misread that part number....old eyes.

If they look the same, and they both have either a DOT approved stamp, or a not DOT approved stamp they should be compatible.

Pics?
