My Legend has a Kuryakyn bag on the luggage rack, and I can add my two Vetter Bagman saddlebags (from the 80's) if I am overnighting. I also have a magnetic tank bag, which I find convenient for easy access to small items, but really only necessary on a long trip I think. My sleeping bag, tent and ground pad all go on the seat behind me, and it is actually more comfortable, as they make a great back rest. I'm sure it doesn't look very cool, but as much as I like my Legend's look, it's the way it rides that is most important to me. Going on a long trip with luggage is just about the best thing I can imagine, and this inexpensive and easy set-up really works great for me. I can eat up alot of pleasant miles, and honestly, I always think it is cool to see a standard bike loaded up like this, as I know the person riding is a real rider, and not someone jockeying a La-z-boy on wheels.
