AFAIK, you can get the sixth cogs from any 6-gear T300 (Daytona, Sprint) etc. along with the shifting forks and fit to your existing tranny. Personally, I wouldn't bother - the difference between 5th and 6th gear is rather small as it's a close ratio gearbox. But then I'm a lazy and thend to leave it alone if it works

It's possible to swap or even add the gear to your current transmission because there's a spacer where the 6th gear should be.
I've thought about it, but the gain is NOT worth the aggravation.

I contemplated changing the oil sump from my TB engine over to the Daytona engine I use (due to not wanting the Daytona oil cooler) but having seen the amount of seals that needed replacing when opening the bottom, I decided it was a much better idea to simply by the bypass pipe from the Trident and fit instead
I'd never bother to fit a 6th gear unless I had the engine open already. And probably not even then. However, different people have different ideas of what they think is fun or not, and I cannot hold it against those who enjoy tinkering.

bypass pipe
Faffi, do you know the part number, or from what years the bypass pipe comes from.
I have a Trophy that has been turned into a T-bird and want to lose the oil cooler.

Sorry, no part number, but the 91-93 Trident 900 definitely has it. It was likely fitted to early Sprints as well. Was cheap, too; about £25-30 in this cost inflated country.

Why not tinker with the drive and rear sprocket sizes.
Ist gear is always enough to get you rolling.
