'95 T-bird Mikuni slide guides

OK. After much angst, investigation and numerous on/offs of the carbs, I have decided and found that the Mikuni slide guides are just plain bad (scratched, worn)... I no doubt fear that the emulsion tubes are shot. One cylinder is awful sooty and the MPGs have dropped in the can. Not to mention the rich, gassy smell. Oh the richness!

Now then. I have Factory Pro needles, a rotor kit and am going to order some new Factory Pro emulsion tubes. I did not put 'em in...the previous master did.

My question is this: WHERE can I find the slide guides to purchase? I have looked through Bike Bandit and cannot find them sold in the Mikuni section. Any ideas? I have also checked Sudco's web pages, but no dice. Am I missing something here?

Has anyone replaced these plastic slide guides in the Mikunis? Does this help with the richness/sootiness/general low MPGs?

Thank you in advance!

I don't think they are sold separately - although there was someone who posted recently that they could be had from one source, I think...? Maybe I just dreamed it

Do a search on the T3 Sport/Touring section (or post a question), I believe new slide guides have been offered or reported there. Don't think they're available thru' any official channels.

Or you could do what I did, buy a set of Keihins. I did the swap when the Mikunis were still low mileage and I sold them on for what the Keihins cost me.
