Yesterday I went to pick up my Raask rearsets, they wont be in for another three weeks. I plan to fit these, a Triumph lower handlebar. And a smaller screen than I have.
I also spoke to John Moorehouse, who is our resident seat Guru in Brisbane, and he will modify my standard seat to suit the new rding position.Also make a complete new cover for the seat.
I should be able to have it all ready to go when I return to brisbane in about one month.
Since I have been working down south I have fitted a ventura rack, which will probably not get used mouch when I return home.
Took the bike to a Triumph specialist in Melbourne, recommended by Cuppa 500. He has the bike running the best it has ever gone, and even quietened the rattle it had at idle since new. Wouldnt tell me how he did it but oh well I like the result anyway. :-D
I am not looking forward to the ride back from Victoria(over 2000 klms)as it will be the middle of winter, and I wont have the seat done yet.Looks like it will be a slow trip over about four days.
