Hi everybody i got some good news this morning, the building society said they will let me draw down on my mortgage in august so off to the bike shop i went and put down a deposit on a new rocketIII, the guy in the shop said he would give me a good price on my 98 TBS,So i told him he must be joking as there is now 9550 miles on her and she is just run in and behaving beautifully,Ican,t give her up and I WON,T GIVE HER UP. even my missus said to keep her and she does,nt even ride. so i won,t be jumping ship to the rocket forum as i will still need all the help that i am now used to getting from you all.the only downside to this is that i am now on a countdown to september 1st (82 days or 1,960 hours)

My thoughts excactly Bob,the flat that i am getting the dosh from was supposed to be my retirement plan but sod it i want it now whilst i am still fit enough to enjoy it,and i just love my TBS, Iknow that if i sold her and couldn,t get on with the rocket i would regret it , so call me a greedy get but i want them both.

Had a t-bird and sold it. Regretted it every day since.
Bought a Rocket and I love it, but something was still missing.
Recently picked up a 96 t-bird, and feel like a new man again.

........and the two look great parked next to each other.

Ben, I can feel your pain.

I bought an S4 a couple of weeks ago and can't get it away from my g/f....so, while I await the S3 of my dreams, I've purchased an extremely low mileage, mint '98 TBS. It really is an extremely clean, classic bike.

Suspect I will have trouble when the day comes to sell.
