Hi,
What's the standard oil they use in the T-bird forks???
And what would I choose to get a little stiffer fork action?
Does heavier oil have any effect at all or would I still need to change
springs to get good results?
Thanks for any help!

I went to 20wt in mine. I have to say that I would not recomend it. I have had nothing but handling issues since I did it.
Just my observation. :hammer:

:-g skool
Question... Do you have the OEM rear shock ?? If yes do not jump to a much heavier grade, then you wil have an unbalanced suspension..
Don't play with the level too... this will affect the seal... For info you have to take the mesure , tube completly down, without the spring in it ..
My opinion is that 20 W is Ok on SHOWA fork
