Anyone know if I can use a speedo from a 2000+ Bonneville on my 99 Tbird?

What's the technique for removing the trip counter stem from the speedo in order to remove the speedo from the case?

Can't answer the first, but as for the second, on my 99 Legend, it was just a friction fit and pulled off with some careful prying. Others have said they had a small screw holding it on, but mine did not.

You probably will be ok using a Bonneville speedo. Manufacturers tend to stick to one ratio for the head, and adjust the speed by using different speedo drive gears.
