Does anyone know the correct size Damper needed for the TBS? I ordered the 140mm and it is to small, not enough travel. They said they would exchange for another. The next size is 160mm but if anyone has a damper on a TB or TBS and they know the size, I would be very grateful for the info. I don't want to pay for more shipping than I have to. The people at Sprint uk are very nice. I recommend them highly.

Hi,

The Sprint Dampers unit for the T309 Speed Triple is 160mm. They have accidentally supplied a 140mm before, as the one for the T509 Speed Triple is 140mm (reported on the T3 Sport / Touring Forum - they were very helpful and changed it straight away though).

Fyi, I have a T300 Sprint with a Toby steering damper, and this is 160mm also (and the same fitting).

With all the T300 models being similar, I am sure a 160mm would be correct for a TBS.

for me, i have it set up so i can lock the steering still and my left side clip-on just barely sits off the tank badge at full turn left. the other way the damper provides the stop before full turn right. a few more mm would be better but they aren't missed by any means.
