Hi - title says it all.

I'm looking for suggestions for a match to the 99 thunderbird sport red paint. I need to paint a single seat cowl and a fairing. Ideally a standard automotive paint match that I can get easily in a an auto store (US).

I guess you have a Tornado Red/Jet Black fuel tank? In which case you have a 1998 "model year" (first registered in 1999?). The 1999 "model year" colouring looks to have been Opal White/Tangerine only.

Tornado Red is colour code 'CM' and I see Color-Rite in the US does this. See http://www.colorrite.com/product/tri...o-red-1479.cfm

In the US

98 and 99 were available in Red/Black or Yellow/Black.

The 2000 was availble in white/orange only

the 2003 was orange/black only

the 2004 was Black/Yellow only

In other countries this could be different.
