Can anyone recomend a good set of luggage for a 99 TBS as its awkward to fit anything due to the upswept exhaust!. Also has anyone seen a half fairing that would fit a TBS?

I've been looking for hard luggage for my 98 TBS and I think I can fit a topbox but the exhaust mean that no panniers can be fitted. With a bit of ingenuity and engineering the non-fango monorack should fit the tbs and I plan to try this. It seems that the only way round the exhausts would be to lower the exhausts - not an easy job I think!

I have a '98 TBS and use a set of Tour Master Cortech Sport saddlebags and tail bag which are designed to fit with up swept sport bike exhausts. I have three stacked on the right side of my bike and the bags fit with enough clearance. They are not the biggest bags around, but I was able to pack enough for a 5 day trip including rain gear and laptop.

I use the tail bag alone for daily commuting. It goes on and off quick with four built-in bungee hooks. I can easily fit a couple folders, laptop, pair of shoes, and assorted sundries.

I recently purchased a Cortech Mini Magnetic tank bag for when I need to carry small things around town or a little extra room on longer trips.

Enjoy,
Rob

See my photo album for pics of Kappa hard bags. Tried soft bags but hard bags with locks are what I wanted.
