I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times but I'll ask again. Can you put a 170 series tire on the rear of a TBS? If so, how does it affect handling? Thanks

i put a 170/60 on my stock spoked rim and i think it handles just fine :-D , and it looks a lot better. with less rubber around it the rim doesn't look so small and the wider tire fills out better from a rear view. if you search the archives you'll find tons of posts and info. on tires

I put a 160/60 on mine and like it - came stock with 160/70.

I put a Dunlop 160/60 on the rear of my 2K-TBS and it rides/handles fine to me.
There is a difference in the handling, but not much and I am used to it now.

Don't forget to get a larger tube if you have spoked rims.
