Any leftover 04 TBS's left at a dealership near you? I am trying to figure out how to get my dealer an 04 TBS so I can trade in my citric flavored Tbird for a bike that actually works. I had orginally wanted to get a Tiger but I just don't think I have the cash for that.
Any help would be appreciated. The first step is finding a TBS and then the second is getting them to trade or sell it to my dealer.
Thanks a lot guys..
Tom

There is one on the floor at South Seas Triumph in Hawaii
Build date12/03 which makes it one of the VERY last batch.
I would be very pleased if you would take it as then I would again have the only '04 TBS in the state.
There was a posting recently by Mick , IIRC, and he said that TMA can and will move bikes between dealers.
If you want to call South Seas, their # is 808 671-6711 ask for Norm or Tony

Thanks for the leads guys. Wombat, I kinda doubt that TBS will be shipped off on Triumph's dime . That would be pretty expensive I imagine. You might as well buy it and own the only two on the island! :-D

I doubt they woudl do it from Hawaii.
The deal as I understand it is this.
Triumph will move bikes between dealers but will not send a truck out to do it, so basicly you have to wait until a delivery is made to the originating dealer, they then take the bike with them on the return trip. Once the bike is returned to GA it can then be included with the next delivery to the destination dealer. This turnaround can take a little while if the dealers dont shift many units.
All this may be totally incorrect as I only have the info as hearsay, but your dealer should be able to confirm it with Triumph for you.
It is possible that they may have some '03s left too

I would kill myself with a Speed Triple . I love the looks of the classic triples and the howl from their engines when fitted with nice pipes. I would love to keep my current Tbird but how can I trust it at this point? If worst comes to worst I will get a Tiger, Sprint or Speed Triple. Of course if I can't afford those three I will have to get a Wee-Strom DL650 or Bandit 1200S.
I can't pull myself to get into the twins. Those who have met me would know why. I would dwarf the wee bike :-D

These guys sell new Tigers for $9,483 out the door.
You have to pay your own taxes, tags and Title.
http://www.southernpowersports.com/
You could call and see if they have a TBS. They did not have one listed on their web site.

I am stuck with having to do a trade in with my dealer. The bike is in parts and not worth much to any other dealer as a trade in if I bring it in a box. I have to find a bike for my dealer to get so they can do the trade in with me. Trust me, at this point I would just assume deal with someone else but I am locked in with this problem.
