i just got some new ngk dpr8ea-9 spark plugs for my 2000 legend and i want to check the gap. anyone know what the recomended gap should be?

Other Motorcycle: 2001 Tiger
According to the Haynes manual the gap should be 0.8 to 0.9 mm.

Set them to 0.8 mm , spark plugs open up with use.
