Aux Lighting for Legend?
Any ideas for an extra couple of lights on the front of the 2001 Legend? Suggestions?

There are ways to turn the front turn signals into running lights as well as turn signals; you'll have to search the threads for the process.
I made mounts attached to the radiator. I wouldn't try this without a crash bar or something to stop the mount from destroying the radiator in a tipover. You may recognize these as old school harley turn signals pressed into triumph duty.

I like Toller's mounting idea.
Walmart sells small, round, chrome driving lights for around $20 a set. That's the way I'm leaning.

Where would be the best point to get the 12V ? In light housing behind headlight? Will it accept 2x55Watts?

2X55 watts = 110
110 watts @ 12 volts = 9.1 amps
So the answer is probably going to be running a dedicated line with fuse for the added lighting. You may want to add a relay to control the light along with the existing lighting or add a switch to operate them independently.

Definitely use a separate line/relay/fuse. Don't add that to what's already running thru' the Ignition Switch. The likely effect of which would actually be to increase the alternator output voltage even higher. This is because the alternator regulator senses after the loom volt drops of ignition etc. This is why the battery already gets around 15V (Not a more usual 14.5) & needs periodic topping up.
There is a spare 'Ignition On' output from the switch on a small gauge wire (yellow IIRC) which goes as far as the loom connector in the headlight shell. This is a handy Ign + feed which can be used to power relays (coils only, take main power from Battery term.) for all sorts of auxiliary electrics which need disabling when ignition is off. (Heated grips in my case.)
I'd be tempted to have single filaments each side, wiring one with 'dip' the other 'main'.

A few thoughts:
12 gauge or even 10 gauge stranded wire and good connections for the power going to the lights. This wiring can go directly to the battery with an inline fuse AND A GOOD GROUND .
Run the relay off of a switched power supply. Relays do not need much power and will operate just fine with 22-18 gauge.
MORE LIGHT EQUALS GOOD
