Speedometer question
I recently lubed the speedometer cable with cable lube and now (about two weeks later) it locked up. It probably broke at the wheel end because at the speedo end I can't turn the square drive very much at all and it doesn't turn when the bike is moving. I pulled the cable off the speedo and ran it down the street to verify that it's not turning.
Did I mess up by lubing it in the first place? I remember some teflon lined control cables years ago that you were not supposed to lube or you would damage them.
