Pictures of your Helmet

I'm looking to buy a new Helmet, and cannot decide what to buy. I'm almost certain I want a full face, after reading some of the stories of guys going down on the freeway I'm kind of partial to my teeth.LOL

I've been looking a new helmets too just...well because. Here's a link to some reviews:

http://www.webbikeworld.com/Reviewed...s/Products.htm

I have an HJC CL-15 which is a decent helmet (full face). Its not an expensive one, its comfortable, cool enough (vs hot), the shield does not fog up but it is very noisy from the wind coming up from underneath. All of those are factors when considering a helmet. Read some of the reviews at the link, it should help you understand what you should be looking at. I think its okay to buy online but you should try on models of several brands at the bike shop before you do. Head shape is important and different helmets fit different head types. $200 is a reasonable amount to spend I think, you can get plenty of helmet for around that price range. I'm trying to decide between a Scorpion EXO700 or an HJC CL-SP. I just might take the winter to think about it.

I have moved this into the gear and gadgets (helmets section) - please note that there is a nice sticky up top, where you can post pictures of your own actual helmet - especially good for if you have custom artwork to show off.

I've had a Scorpion EXO400 for a couple years now. When my wife went helmet shopping, she tried the 400, but found the EXO700 was better vented and MUCH lighter than the 400, for only a few bucks more... Scorpion also has a slick little chin wind flap thingy that cuts ALL the wind out from underneath...

An EXO700 is now on my Christmas list

I have the Arai Vector Phil Read replica size M. Only issue is it's a little too small or my head is just the wrong shap for it. So I use it for just scootin' around town and short sprints and it seems to work fine. For long rides I use my Shoei XR-1000 Size L.

HJC has a new model, the FS-15, that looks pretty promising.
