Anyone got a Caberg Trip Helmet?

OK i know there is a gear forum but it deosnt get much traffic and a sportsbike rider with a fairing will have a different riding experience to us Twinnies!

I quite fancy one of these as they have a few nice features:-

Tinted interal drop down visor - handy as i wear glasses.
Flip front
good value and seem good quality.

But do they last and are they noisey due to the flip?

Cheers Clive

I have the Caberg Solo 104 Gaia and I really like it. The build quality and materials are top notch. It is a quiet helmet.

I ride a Ducati ST4 and a Bonneville. Like you, I also wear glasses. I live and ride in Charlotte NC where we have lots of bright sunny days. The internal sun shield is great for riding during the day and I do not have to worry about changing the visor for night time.

We have had a lot of days this year with temps in the upper 90s. I have found this helmet flows a lot of air. It is comfortable to wear in our heat.

I have recommended this helmet to the guys I work with who also ride.

I did buy the helmet for use with the Ducati. This was before I had the Bonneville. I don't think it is bad with the Bonneville because it has all the same colors as the Union Jack!

I found mine on clearance at www.ironpony.com for $69.99

noisy

Hi marmite

Cheers for your comment, is it OK if you wear earplugs or still unacceptably noisy?

I know what you are talking about, this one is better than the others e,g it has the grip to control wind's noise.
