Davida styles

All modern 3/4 helmets make my head look unproportionally large to my body, which I hate. I love retro helmets. The Davida speedster looks like it would be nice and "small". While the classic jet seems like it might make my head look like a lollypop. Anyone have experience with these helmets?

I don't really care that the speedster is not DOT.

I just measured my head, 58cm. Right between M and L. That sucks...

I was having the same problem when choosing a 3/4....looked at the speedster, but didnt want to fork out $300 w/out being able to try one on. Bought a NOS polycarbonate Buco helmet off of ebay for $60...had to reline it, but it fits so sweet...nice and close. If I can get my camera working i'd be happy to send you a picture of it..

You might also check out Biltwell Specialties. They started selling reproduction 3/4's earlier this year.

Personally, I went with a classic helmet that was completely overhauled. Check out Justified Defiance for that one. You'll spend more, but you'll get a classic and with the option of some cool paint schemes.
