DaveM suggested that I post this notice here for everyone.
For those who have the modular (Flip up) helmets, a recall notice has been sent out offering a new helmet free of charge.

I have a helmet that matches this criteria and will have mine replaced.

Just forwarded this to my wife. I'm pretty sure she has a helmet that qualifies.
Its either a Fulmer or a Nolan.

they still took care of me and sent me a replacement upper vent. My vent got caught on something and the sliding door was bent outward and made an awful whistling sound going down the road. My helmet was made in Oct 2006.... so it was past the recall date. Would not have even known about the recall... but I was googling Fulmer parts and this link popped up. Thanks RAT pack for the info.

Great news! April 2010 and they are still honoring the recall. I needed a sheild mechanism and saw this site which lead to a NEW HELMET!!!!!!!!!! COOOL BEANS!
