Shoei Qwest experiences?

Hi,

My Shoei XR 1100 is getting a little old now so I'd jump at another one ... but they've been discontinued. So does anyone have feedback on their real life experience with the Shoei Qwest? I'm going to check them out next weekend but that doesn't tell the story when it comes to riding in rain, cold, reliability etc. Any tips or advice would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Ok scratch this. I managed to get an early test of the Qwest and the shape differs enough from my XR-1100 that I get a pressure point on the forehead while everywhere else feels ok. Tried the NXR and that too felt different - this time like I fell between sizes. The GT Air was a revelation. Tight all round but with an even pressure that will ease off during bedding in. Just like the XR-1100. It seems the GT Air is the true successor to the XR-1100. Dammit that's another £120 on top of the Qwest ... apparently that's the cost of a built-in sun visor which fits over my glasses
