I have had a Shoei Multitec for several months and think it is great. It's my second Shoei and I seem to be one of those who have a "Shoei head" that just matches their helmets; so the fit is comfortable but also feels secure. The Multitec aerodynamics are fantastic. I have a naked bike with no windshield or flyscreen and the Shoei handles even really high speeds with low resistance and almost no buffeting. Unfortunately, the price is also fantastic.

I have a Schuberth C-2 flip up that is pristine (like new-worn about 3 times, I will sell for $250 plus trans ) in white -all the bells and whistles box, papers , book etc, it is white ,has the flip down visor, size XXL or 63 which is actually like an Arai or Shoei XL. PM if you are interested. Reason-it does not fit my head !

I also give a vote for the Nolan N102 as I also wear glasses and it is easy to get on and off with them. The helmet is noisy without ear plugs (mostly wind noise). The anti-fog shield works great but the glasses I wear tend to fog. With my arthritic fingers the retention system works great for me as I always have trouble with the D rings. The only complaint I have is with the removing and replacing of the visor, pain in the butt.

I had a Fulmer flip up before the Nolan, which was awful noisy with a constant whistle on the right side. Fulmer replaced it once and after a month of use the whistle was back and I went and purchased the Nolan.

HJC Symax
Been wearing an HJC Symax for the last 5 years without any issues.
Time for a replacement.
Goes over my bifocols with out a problem.
Much better quality than the HJC CLmax.
I want to check out the the new Symax II.
It looks heavy what with the internal sunshade and all.
The Symax is realatively light weight for a modular.
And yup, they are all noisier than a fullface.

Is there a Schuberth distributor for the US now?

I own two Nolan flip ups. The N100 and N102. Obviously i prefer the N102 of the two. It is just a better helmet. Better fit, finish and style. The locking mechanism is much better designed than on the N100. I found it to be a bit more comfortable and quiet than the N100 as well. All that being said, i prefer my Shoei RF-1000 over the N102. Much more comfortable and a lot quieter.

I generally only use the Nolan for quick hops around town.

Caberg
Caberg ( k-berg) Justissimo Jarow etc etc

Made by Caberg and Italian firm, but as of last year no longer available in the USA.. seems they have had distributor issues from day one and that has resulted in a less than stellar reputation from many here in the US.

I've put 20k miles on my Caberg and It has been a great helmet and even saved my face once! The internal sun shade is the best feature of any helmet I have had on my head. I wear glasses and the flip up is a must and the sun visor allows me to wear clear glasses using a clear main visor and I have sun protection when needed. Also would note that in the northern latitudes that low sun angle can be a bear without something to help out.

I will be ordering a new helmet soon and will be seeking out a UK company that will ship to the US.

NOTE... look out for plastic latching mechanisms in cheaper flip-ups.. I hit my face on the chin bar and the helmet was gouged a bit but stayed on my head and stayed closed.

There are other brands I would consider, but most do not offer the built in sun visor.
