I wear a Shoei xl-xxl depends on the padding.
Fairly quiet, I do wear ear plugs..usually.
Easy on/off of the shield

For rounder fat heads, try a Shoei, for oblong fat heads, try Arai

Try one on, wear it in the store for 15-20 minutes.
See ant big red dots on the forehead?
Or starting to get a headache? If yes .........try another size or brand

Then look on;line and save a bunch of money.

The Z1R's fit me pretty darn well.

Ok, so I have a semi large head, and I wear a HJC CL-Max (flip front). It fits great, but has alot of wind noise as to be expected from a flip up. But it is HUGE! I know I have a bigger noggin, but with this on... it just feel gaint. Anybody have a large head, but find a good fit on a "slimming" helmet?

I am a collector of helmets, at last count I own nine. I have a single extra fat head pretending to be a double extra fat noggin. I prefer the AGV XXL helmets. They tend to run a bit smaller than other brands and fit my oblong melon better. The old fashioned rounded helmets were much more uncomfortable IMHO than the new aerodynamic units. Measuring my casaba has proved critical when shopping for a new helmet. As to noise, I always wear plugs. So, I have no clue. Good luck!
