Best Full-face Helmet?

I need a new full-face helmet. Any recommendations for comfort and low wind noise?
Thanks.

Have you checked the Gear and Gadget Forum?

There is a whole sub-forum on Helmets in there

I have a Shoei X Eleven helmet. I love it. Expensive, but light and comfortable.

I vote the Shoei RF1000. I particularly like it because there is a channel in the liner which allows for my glasses to slide right through so they are not pushed into my head. Also easier to put glasses on with the helmet on. My $ .02

I replaced my HJC witha Nitro. It lasted 2 weeks, has to be the noisyest most unairodynamic helmet out there, turn your head sideways and feels like its going to be ripped off.Finaly settled on a Vemar.Italian made and fits like a glove.Guess it depends on your head shape though.

I have both a Shoei Rf1000 and an Arai Astral. The Arai has to be replaced in the spring due to being 7 yrs old by then. But I like them both. The Arai is cooler in the heat due to better venting, and allows the visor to be lifted a little, and this helps take care of the problem. Both could be quieter but how would you know what's going on around you without some noise ?

HJC CL14. Reasonably priced, comfortable, adjustable ventilation, wear it year round. Works well with my glasses. Noise level is low. Will buy another HJC.

Thumbs up Shoei RF1000

I find this helmet to be most comfortable. No fatigue and has good ventilation. I wear custom ear plugs and they clear the inside when putting the helmet on.
Somewhere in the $400 range.

I bought a Shoei TZ-R a coupel months ago and love it.....Like someone said before, it has a lot to do with the shape of your head. Every helmet I tried on (different manufacturers, same size) fit differently.....the Shoei's seem to fit me good, and you can't get much more visible than this! Right around $270...
