I got a Shoei X-11 helmet after the good reviews on it.

It fits great but no matter how tight I fasten it it jitters above 60 mph, which blurs vision somewhat. It is rather annoying.

The helmet fits me very snuggly to the point of being almost painful to get off. So it is not the size. At more than $500 this is just not right. I have cheaper helmets that don't have this problem at all.

The lever that cracks open the lid to reduce fogging doesn't work either. And the manual is hilarious. Can't Shoei hire anyone who can write a decent manual in English?

I am thinking of selling it in Ebay and trying something better.

I have to say that I really like my X-11. Mine is fine at all speeds unlike some helmets I've had that feel like they want to come off my head at high speeds. My only complaint is pretty minor. I find it impossible to open and close the top vents while riding. Other than that, the helmet fits my melon pretty well, it keeps my head fairly cool at 100+ F, the face shield is very easy to remove and replace, and the removable pads are easy to keep clean.
