Any of you have first hand experience? the inner visor and design seem great, but the slim distribution worries me.

I'm looking at a Caberg Solo full face, non modular.

any comments????

I've had a Caberg/Justisimo flip-up for about 3 years. I have been totally happy with it....I installed flat speakers, and have replaced a couple of clear shields, and I daily appreciate the flip-down sun visor....

Caberg is a well known and very reputable company in Europe. They have consistantly had distribution issues, but seem to be on a better track with the new folks they have in the US.

Check with the www.cabergusa.com website to find a store...

fyi I bought my mail order and the sizing was perfect for me... thanjfully.

I've heard nothing but good things about Caberg, but always in reference to their modular helmets.

It's not the one you're looking at, but here's a review of the Justissimo: Click me! Click me!.

I've never personally considered a Caberg full-face because there are so many helmets that are easier to find, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their helmets.

BTW - The new Scorpion EXO-1000, which should be shipping in August, has an internal sun visor too, if you're looking for that feature. Here's a preview

I like the Scorpion helmet. When my AGV becomes overripe from age, I'll consider one.

Bought and returned the internal shield model. Great details, but short in the chin area (front to back). A common theme to modular types.

Diito on the fit issue -- solid contact with teh chin (much moreso than on my Schuberth), and the sun visor thought my nose was much too large ;-} (it ain't wrong)

only thing to learn from this is even a great helmet is useless if it doesn't fit -- if you're buying remotely, make sure you can return it, if necessary

Thanks for the input. Just recieved my Caberg Solo.

I don't think the chin room is an issue with this one, there is a TON of space in there, and the inner visor is a perfect fit for me. Seems to be a much quieter helmet than most as well.

Then again, i don't have a jay leno chin or jimmy durante nose.

The finish is great, and I got it for $215, no tax ,no shipping.

I was wondering about the Solo... I looked at one for the GF, but opted for the Caberg flipup instead.. a nice dark blue one.

chefjpd, where did you get your Solo? On-line or in-house at a shop? I'm really happy with my RF-1000 but I'd like a second helmet for sunset riding (sun on horizon) and possibly a new helmet for the GF. Hers is getting a little old.
