I just installed a FogCity Hypershield on my full face helmet and have to say I am impressed. It is guaranteed to never fog and goes from clear to dark in about 5 seconds. I see them online but got mine at the local Honda dealership

When you're out in the sun, is the area not covered by the fogcity annoying?

hogwylde,

I'd love to hear of the performance after using this shield on the road for a day or two and maybe a long term report. I've been waiting for a product like this so I don't have to carry around an extra shield, but I also don't want to spend 40 bucks on something like this if it doesn't hold up well or work for a fairly long term. Also does it fit any face shield for any brand of helmet, thanks for the information.

I started running one of those last year, now with about 15,000 miles on it is still going strong. Last time I checked they had two diffenent cuts, one for Arai helmets with the vents on the visor, and the over fits most other helemts. The uncovered areas I don't find to be annoying, as they are at the very edges of the helmet and on my Arai not very noticable. The only time I wished it was darker is on very sunny days on old sun bleached cement highways, but your eyes might be a little less sensitive.

I have a Fogcity, but not the Hypershield. It works fairly well, but I get ghosting. I wouldn't want to wear one anytime but winter, if I can help it. I am interested in the Hypershield, though.

Used the Fogcity Hypershield (clear to blue insert to match the blue TT) in my Arai for one year, brilliant. Some ghosting at night, and starring of lights. But the trouble free riding makes up for it I think. And in the winter, no fogging up.

A good investment

I used one for two years, hail, rain and shine, summer and winter.

BRILLIANT.

Buy one.
