anyone know where i can try on and buy a davida jet or jet classic helmet in the LA/orange county areas?

also, what is the difference in certification between the two. one is dot, it think, the other is eu-22. which is superior?

Droog, I believe the only way to get a Davida helmet here in the states is via British Classics at http://www.british-classics.com
I believe they only sell direct

There are tech differences between DOT and Euro certification, but both are similar. The basic problem for us bikers is that a helmet legal in the US must be DOT certified. If it just has the Euro cert., it's not legal over here. One of the Davida styles (the Classic Jet, I think) is DOT cert., but it's the only one.

evidently there is a place in hollywood (glory motorcycles) that sells the dot approved davidas, but at nearly $400 i've opted for the mucl less expensive nolan n-30 ($150).

i think i'll save the big bucks for the arai phil read full face so i'm covered with a 3/4 and ff.
