that was my rationalization. . . i decided to stop farting around and got an arai vector (silver). good lord, it's great.

rationalization #2: in two months i won't miss the money, but i'll still have a wicked comfy, quiet, and well-vented lid.

and i'm worth it

I think that's a fine move. It's hard as hell to pack anything you buy at Ikea on the back of a bike anyway.

500+ miles three-day trip through western MA and VT last weekend. . . and my melon is the one thing that doesn't ache

i actually enjoy wearing a helmet now.
