just ordered one of these on closeout for $150. they told me the closest fit was the arai oval (vector, corsair) and those fit me, so this could be an outstanding deal--i trust the word of webBikeworld. i ended up getting white because it's visible (i'm thinking some racing stripes would look good), they didn't have silver in M, and the graphic ones are kinda terrible looking imho.

i'll report back when i get some miles with it.

I have the Yellow Doug Polen replica. It's a nice helmet, but a bit heavy. Fit is nice and snug, perfect for the track. If it loss a little weight, it would be one of my favorites. Maybe the Japanese version is different from the NA version.

got it yesterday. . . great looking helmet--definitely takes it's styling cues from the arai and utilizes the same style of visor and friction lock. the interior is soft, and the venting looks to be qual. it's also oval shaped like the arai lids (so you oval-shaped heads should take note and look into them when you are in the market).

here's the rub for me. . . literally. the damn thing collapses my ears when i put it on and it's so snug that i can't get them to straighten out. as much as i *want* it to fit i fear that it's just not gonna cut it. the helmet uses two shell sizes--one for xs through med, one for large and up--and i think i probably need a larger shell size and thicker padding. thing is that this was on closeout and there aren't any larger shell sizes to be had.

bollocks!

f it! i might be in for an arai vector (YAY!. . . . UGH!)

I had to get a size larger, for it to fit. Even then, it still fairly tight. It's very similar to my AGV Titech........the ear pockets are non existent.
