I haven't been riding long and have never used/needed a helmet before. Now being in the military a helmet is required. I was looking at the Nolan N30 helmets which I think would compliment my Bonneville. Does anyone have any advice or info on this particular helmet or any other similar alternatives?

Trying on a helmet first is best, although not always possible if buying online. However, I have heard mostly good things about Nolans, including the N30 - nice retro look and not overly expensive. I was going to buy one myself - and still may - but got an HJC CL33 instead.

I have had a Nolan N30 for about 10 months. Love it as a all season helmet. But during some windy days on the freeway I have had the visor pop up. So I have to adjust my riding position, chin down and duck behind wind screen a little.
The collar detaches but I leave it on all the time.
