My 2 cents, I don't think you should lose the unique name Bonnie or Bonneville in the forum title. It has a large following, probably the biggest on the site. I agree Twin Technical Forum would be all encompassing and accurate but it's at the expence of a famous identifying name. Remember we have a lot of visitors to the site !

You will note I'm not suggesting an alternative name with Bonnie or Bonneville in it, I think someone from the Twins could do that.

As long as the title does not have "V" twin, "L" twin, or "opposing" twin. "Twin Talk" could encompass even (dare I say it?) the 1700 twin.

But on the other hand, the Bonneville America is considered a "Cruiser", so maybe.....

Nah, it has the twin engine, so leave it there in twin talk.

Your point, John, is a good one. However, the problem we have now is how to incorporate the Bonnie spin off lines into the tech forum without having them feel like they have just been downgraded to "well, they are not all that important so we'll just dump them in there where they can get lost." There are a surprising number of "pure" Bonnie owners that actually think they are the "superior" owners. Any use of the Bonnie name in the forum title will, I think, simply reinforce that perception. I think a clearly worded subtitle will put them all on the same level of importance.

Then list the bikes involved in the sub-head....

Sounds like an excellent solution to me.

Well maybe they are, I rode with a couple of friends today and one whose 06 Tiger was in the workshop borrowed another friend's T100, he's owned two Tigers, a 750 Bonnie and a Thunderbird and claims this T100 is the smoothest bike he's ever ridden in his life and puts his Tiger to shame, mark you there is something wrong at the moment with his Tiger.

Yep I would go along with Twins Technical Talk as long as the sub-headings had nearly similar enhanced importance. Visitors will be looking for the Bonnie and they make a big proportion of the lurkers.
