No more Triumph news, just random feeds from webBike and MCN?

Was this accidental, or a new permanent thing?

I'm playing around with some RSS News Feeds, planning to "filter" them a bit so that they don't over-do the user-contributed news.

Initially, the AMA News was going to be removed but some have spoke up in support of them already.

Sounds good overall. I don't really mind some of the more relevant news items... a lot of them are interesting... but it would indeed be easy to overwhelm the Triumph-specific and member contributed items.

I have to say, I really couldn't give a sh1t about some rice news. Trying to sift your way through the daily dribble to get a relevant kernel is frustrating.

In short I'd prefer it if the news was limited to Triumph and all things associated with them [and your web site news].

If people want AMA or Kawasaki/Suzuki/Ducati/Harley etc etc etc news then go to the appropriate web site or buy the book [plus the web links don't work for me anyway, so I can't even see the whole story or any pics].

So, sorry, but I preferred the specific news.

Maybe if you want to do this then have a forum that caters for it and free up the home page for more important things. This is s TRIUMPH web site after all!!!

You're right, I've modified the code so that it attempts to pull only what is labeled as Triumph. It may miss some things, but think it works much better.

How about maintaining a feed of other news, but listing it a "general news" forum.. I l do like having it gathered for me, but agree with keeping the front page a Triumph only list...

That is a thought, which would allow for a much more diverse listing of news.

On the other hand, I may reserve that for my next project
