Donations to the Forum

I sent some turn signals to a member for free and suggested he make a donation to the Forum but I dont see where he can do it ? Is this possible ? I am also a member of a V-Rod Forum and they have a donation icon set up to a Paypal link and is very easy to do. Let me know as the member is willing to make a donation. Robert.

In the early days, I used to take donations but have since removed that information.

The reasons are complicated, but it has to do with the "inconsistent" impressions that the user community has of this site. Some folks know that this is a privately-operated site, but not everyone realizes that - regardless of how many ways I state as such.

I've found it easier to rely on other relationships to keep this site funded. It's a choice I made a few years ago, and has worked well.
