Today's Changes
Here's today's changes and updates: - Got rid of the Forum Red Links - Seemed like a good idea during the development phase, but it was killing me now. I mean, who is going to read all of the posts on this monster anyway

- Deactivated the Forum Jump - It was causing a slow load on the forum pages for some Internet Explorer users. I usually deactivate this anyway, just forgot to do it this time.
- Allowed Yahoo Email - I may regret it, but for now users can have Yahoo Email addresses in their profiles.
- Hotmail is still not allowed - Very few users have Hotmail email addresses (you can keep them). Otherwise, you'll have to use another email address.
- Firefox Users Love It Here - If you are having problems with Internet Explorer, it may be due to all of the features that get turned on when the new site senses that you are using IE (such as the spellchecker - which only works with IE). If you are frustrated, give firefox a try. It doesn't initiate the forum spellchecker, because it has one already built in the browser for you. It also blazes on the new TriumphRat.Net.
- Online User List now active only on Home Page - The same info is already listed below the forums on the forum page, and it won't be a necessary item on other pages. When Voter Polls start getting created, I'll probably take it off the home page as well. Who needs to be reminded of how many Triumph Enthusiasts are here anyway

- Your ISP may be DNS Caching to the Max - The former TriumphRat.Net existed forever, giving practically any ISP the means to cache content locally with little effort or expense. Yesterday was a test for some ISP's, because regardless of the speed you're given, there are some service providers out there that don't really have the backbone capacity (or the DNS server muscle) to handle all new content and URLs; causing some users to experience extremely slow performance.
- If it isn't DNS - Many ISPs also cached TriumphRat.Net content for years. Even if you spent an hour browsing the site for the first time, your ISP may not "get it" for another day or two until their content caching mechanisms clear the old content out.
- Can't get logged on? If you're are one of the few who can't get online, be patient and I'll get to you.
- Waiting for Approval? For the time being, I'm manually approving new users before full priviledges are being allowed. This is temporary measure until activities have settled and I'm sure things are working properly.
That's it for now, thanks for your patience during this transition!
