One other thing I noticed with respect to thread subscription Shawn
The master default is to subscribe you to a thread that you post to - I think it makes more sense to turn this off & make default not subscribed, but to have you opt in as opposed to out (actually you can't opt out of subscribing when you create your post, only afterwards)

(this is the same thing that happened with another forum's update to this version - seems to be much more practical as I've described above)

It would've been nice if you had left Classifieds available while disallowing new threads. I'm sure I'm not the only member to have lost important information into the ether.

I'll check on images in the signature, but you can upload your own avatar now.
No go on Avatar edit. Will signature image automatically upload from host site as it was in previous Triumphrat.net site?

Thumbs down

no classifieds will send this forum to the crapper fast. It's a BIG reason why people visit here.

Maybe one of several reasons. Wonder if data would show it to be "BIG" reason.

I am going to implement a significantly-enhanced classifieds section, but seriously man - don't tell me that I've donated my life here to support a classifieds site.

I started this site years ago to associate with other Triumph Enthusiasts.

I've been here for a few years and I rarely visit the classifieds. Give it time , it'll get here...

I wouldn't say this site lives or dies with the inclusion of a Classifieds section, but ... it is a very active part of the site and, to my eye, more new threads have been started asking about it than any other lost/altered feature. That should tell you something about its importance to members.

FWIW, buying and selling mods and accessories with other community members is one way to associate with Triumph enthusiasts. :-)
