I've a pair of Held Akiras: carbon knuckles, kangaroo palms, and rivets in the palm. I like the gloves, but the rivets don't get along well with the bar-end mirrors, so I'm thinking of a new pair, and moving the Akiras to backup.
Held Phantoms: replace the rivets with stingray skin. Seem very nice, but found a Ride magazine glove comparison bashing the embroidered logo on the index finger.
Ku****ani: have soft knuckles, no rivets. Same Ride article didn't have them ranked very highly for the price.
BKS: very nice, but very very expensive.
Others I'd consider are Alpinestars GP plus or pro. Helimot?
Please chime in if you have experience with any of the above models.
thanks!

I don't have any of the gloves on your list, but I do have a pair of Racer High End gloves that are awesome. Here's a review-http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-gloves/racer-gloves/.

You might look at the BMW branded gloves. Reminds me of my Helds, quality-wise.

I have become a bit of a glove wh0re of late.
Hot Hot Summer - R-Jays mesh with carbon knuckles and leather from some dead animal (very cool)
Spring/Autumn - Dri-rider and Joe Rocket (the JR are fantastic and soo comfortable)
Winter - Rivets (hipora, thinsulate and kevlar) but I am looking at a warmer pair for this winter.
Gloves are all pretty expensive but you get what you pay for to a certain level.
Just sold 2 other pairs. One Technics that weren't comfortable because of the kevlar sheet on the back wouldn't flex at all

My Aerostich Elkskin Gaunlets are soooo, uhm wait.. lets not go there.. they are a soft and tough glove that feels great and wears well.
(added below on 4/13)
For the hot summer, I have a set of Triumph Perforated gloves.
For chilly weather, I have a set of lined generic gloves.
For "man, it's cold!" riding I have electric Widder gloves.
and there are the elkskins that I wear whenever possible...
does this make me a glove whore?

Have had a fair amount of gloves cheap and expensive alike - I currently ride a pair of Joe Rocket GPX and I think they could possibly be the best glove I have ever owned. Great protection, good stitching and the comfort is top notch. Not bad on price about $80 if I remember.

Recently bought a pair of Revit Infernos. Love them. Great protections and fit.

I have been using a pair of Lee Parks Deer Sports PCi gloves for the past two years. The work great in both summer and winter. Expensive, but they are really comfortable.

My last gloves were Held Akiras and they served me well in 3 crashes. Finally they got cut through by a car wing mirror. Prior to these I had Ku****ani GPR Zylon - excellent glove now unobtainable but they started to rot from the inside.
I now have Phantoms. They feel even better than the Akiras. They're comfy, light yet sturdy and have a longer cuff so protect the wrist more. They also have even more protection on the outside of the little finger. Oh and a visor wipe on the left forefinger.
I would be hard pushed to wear anything other than Held gloves.

I have a pair of Triumph Explorer gloves for 3 season riding, This is the third year I've been using them and they're still warm and waterproof. I recomend them.
I wear Lee Parks Elk hide gloves in the summer and agree they're pretty nice, soft and supple but supposedly tougher than cowhide.
