I wear the Held Galaxy glove that have rivets, and don't have any bar end issues. They have been replaced by the Phantom so can be found on closeout for 169.00. I bought a 2nd pair for backup.

I got Held Steve's this year and they are holding up well. I had some Gericke vented gloves previosly and the leather was thin and they fell apart pretty quick. Even on hot days the Helds never got particularly hot. They say the Roo leather keeps you from sliding, you hop down the road during a get off

I bought RS Taichi GP EVO gloves in a moment of shear madness- they are ridiculously expensive.

They've also got lots of white leather which, unsurprisingly, is starting to get grubby.

What is the best method to clean leather gloves? I'd appreciate any recommendations/advice. Thanks in advance.

I have the Castle Sport Short Gaunlet with the knucklebuster protection. They cost around $49 and in my opinion they are Ace's up!

I use Alpinestars Dry Star gloves. Full carbon on the knuckles and my hands never get wet from the rain (I ride every day here in Seattle so staying dry is a must!)

+1 They are the best gloves I've ever had. Better than the 3 pairs of Held's I owned.

Just bought a pair of Held Dark Steves. Nice gloves but I wouldn't say they are worth $150 (Man the weak dollar really hurts!). After almost 100 mi on the first ride I noticed that one rivet on my left hand was rubbing my Rizoma bar end. The gaunlets are long but not too long (or short like cheap gloves). I have to admit that I was after a glove w/ a decent length gauntlet. Finger length is real good. These things look like they'll just get better and better with age.
EDIT: BTW the visor wipe annoys me since I wrap my left index finger around the grip to my thumb. I could do w/ out it but hey, I live in a desert.

Racer Brand

A family run Triumph dealer in our area stocks Racer brand and they are great.

They have all seasons and are flexible and armored.

I am picky when it comes to wearing gloves.

Price is not bad either for quality gloves.
