Original RAT Patch
I've got a buddy in Montana who really wants an original RAT patch. These are green, circular and have the RAT logo.I've got two,one on my jacket and one on my vest.I'd give him one of mine but the boot shop that sewed them on for me glued them prior to sewing and neither one wants to come off without damage. These were part of the RAT package (pin, sticker, patch)you used to get with your paid RAT membership each year. This particular patch was for '96,'97,'98,before they changed to the triangular style. If anyone has one of these laying around that they aren't gonna use,let me know and I'll buy it from you.Thanks.

Triangular RAT PATCH
Ok....no one seems to have the triangular RAT patch or pins....and given the generosity I've found here by one of the members who was kind enough to send me the 2007 patch....I'd like to help out if I can. So I contacted a couple of companys that make custom patches sent the copy of the triangular RAT patch posted here and have gotten response for quantities of 100 to 200, from $1.50 to $2.00. I'm not inclined to wall paper my place with patches....so the question is, how many of you out there (in U.S.A....not interested in overseas postal either), would be willing to cover the cost of a patch plus postal delivery....I can't imagine it costing more the $3.00 for patch and postal...if that much. I will fine tune figures if there is sufficient interest to warrant buying that many patches. If your so inclined...send me a PEM.

So you have a way to create patches like your avatar? I think you'll get a lot of interest. Do you want to manage this with replies here, via PM, or do you prefer email?

Hi Squidly, I too have been on the recieving end of the generosity of the RAT guys here and I live in Spain ! Postage from the U.S. to here for an envelope with a patch inside is only $1.25 which I´d be happy to add to the price. do you think this is a viable option? I would love to get a couple of those original RAT green patches, and I know there are lots of other guys on here around the world who would appreciate it too, even if you added a premium.
Slainte,
Jim.

There seems to be some interest....but I'm not seeing enough to warrant spending the money to order them. Any suggestions....because I really thought there would be more responses (no private emails either). The other question I have is should I conduct this here or set up a different email for inquiries and orders? I've never done anything like this before and I'm figuring if I just do 200 there's going to be a fair amount of time just sitting down and addressing envelopes.....so suggestions would be appreciated....and yes, response of those interested in obtaining the patches.
BTW....if you look at the avatar I have posted, that is the template I plan to make the patches to....excluding the print running below. My plan is to go with a plain patch shaped as the avatar...triangular, conforming to the logo completely with no year reference or any addition wording......other then just the green patch with the rat, goggles and his tail showing.

I have a 2004 RAT patch around the house somewhere. I would love to find the pin; it was really a great design. The sticker came off my helmet after doing over 110 mph on GA 400. Not a bad trade: RAT sticker with bad adhesive for doing the ton...

You just posted this yesterday right? Traffic in the RAT forums is very slow, and a lot of people will never see the post. So give it some time to see if there is interest.
I spoke with our local dealer about fronting some T-shirts, and selling them in the shop. That would get the twenty shirts in our hands right off, and save us the burden of transacting and shipping when others come along wanting one. This might be a problem with that image though, depending on the right to use.

As I recall, the original RAT patch was round, not triangular. It had the logo you show here in the center of a white background.
