Triumph has been doing A LOT over the last couple of years in getting US dealers to support packs - which can be shown by an increase in the number of packs by over 50%. Much promotion of the pack concept has been done at the dealer meetings.

Dealers that don't have packs today either lack good marketing sense or have the biggest problem - finding a good LEADER for the pack. The most successful packs are being led by riders rather than dealer principles or employees.

So, my suggestion to you Shawboy is to offer to your dealers to lead a pack. Aren't there a couple in your area? Build it, and they will come!

Scot

Hmm. Interesting. The sound of opportunity knocking?? Perhaps I have found a new calling.

Go for it!! That is how I got going, and I am now on my third pack! (I get moved around a lot).

You might also contact Jim Callahan with your interest:

jim.callahan@triumphmotorcycles.com

He might be able to tell you if there is anything cooking with the local dealers, or which ones might be primed up for a pack already...

I'm a new owner of a used bike, so I went through the web experience to sign up for RAT last week. The problem I have is, "How do I know if I was successful?"

The credit card info they asked for included a required "Card Start Date" which I just took a guess on. I've had my card for a couple of years and don't remember exactly when it was born. The expiration date is printed on the card, not the start date.

It's been over a week and RAT has not billed my card nor have I received any email. Do I dare go through this again? I don't really need two concurrent memberships.

Thanks,
-Keith :???:

Check, same here, I would like to know my number at the least so if the package or what ever they send doent make to me in time for any RAT activities at least I can prove I am paid up.

A friend to whom I had sent the Red Rock Ride entry form e-mailed me this morning wanting to know how to join RAT.
He bought his 2000 RS new in Feb of '00 after I traded my '95 Sprint 900 in for one; don't know if he was ever a member of Rat (might have been before the automatic memberships).

I sent him the 'Join RAT' form and now he wants to know how much it costs to join,... it's not on the form, I don't recall nor can I find that info on any of the websites I have for Triumphs. Can anybody help? Cafetbird?
Thanks

Ooops,... Sorry,... forgot I couldn't post chevrons and brackets to the site. My question was the meaning of the 'bracket' add sig 'bracket' at the end of the e-mail address given as:

email Tia at ratamerica@triumphmotorcycles.com[addsig]

and,... if I had disabled HTML would it have posted properly?

and,... is there a way to remove a posting one has phuqued up after it's been submitted?
Thanks for the help
