New Triumph Customer magazine
Does anyone have information on when/if the new Triumph customer magazine will be distributed? The new magazine was to have replaced the Torque publication, and was planned to be sent in June.

Trust me, unless you are short on tp, don't worry about waiting. I got mine a couple weeks ago and is was as bad as everyone has been saying.

we have become mere peons
Us blue collar folks that have a contract to own a Triumph, have been dissed by the new magazine. I thought it was an ad for Bang and Olufson and almost threw it in the trash, untill I peeled off the wrapper. No info about the folks that own and ride, but there's an ad for Maseratti...and watches I never heard of.
what do you think?

Triumph Mag
This new "Triumph" mag is junk! The RAT section is gone, the ads are for rich folks, and I'm sure some marketing exec is very proud of his achievement(probably rides an Orange County chopper)! I've already completed the enclosed critique in the mag, requesting they save the postage, and stuff the mag. I guess this will let me know how much Mr. Bloor really listens to Triumph owners. I encourage everyone to fill out the critique form in the mag and send it back to Triumph. Maybe we'll get our "Torque" back and be done with such marketing junk! tommyturbo2

Need a new magazine--that's all!
I bet there's a Triumph magazine out there for us....probably online, you know how these things work....the fans (that would be us) need to support it to make it worthwhile, right?
Maybe we can do this on our own. Email me!

I've sent a message to Triumph through my dealer. I'll post back in this thread when I hear something.

Just got 2nd edition, and quality is more less at the same level as the first one - read; it's crap.
It's now published by FMS Publishing, which is the same house which published FMS <insert name> magazines.
At least if I switch to another bike brand I'll not miss the magazine

I haven't seen the second issue yet. Sounds like it's not going to be worth the postage, though. I miss Torque. Torque seemed to appeal to those of us who are die-hard Triumph fans; new new mag is lot like reading my wife's fashion mags. It's a lot of very stylish pics, but no real meat to it. They need to bring back articles on more than the Bike du jour. RAT world and factory articles were extremely interesting.

New magazine
I had never received the first issue,I emailed rat@triumph.co.uk. Simon was very nice and sent me first issue right away, and told me I should receive 2nd issue in Nov. If not, contact him and he'd check things out. I didn't, so I contacted him again and he said he'd said he put this issue in the post that day. I pretty much agree, that first issue sucked, sounds like 2nd issue is no better. Who the hell cares about a Maserati?

Was just wondering where my copy of the latest mag was, so popped over to the Triumph site only to find out that I needed to renew my RAT membership. Nice of them to let me know, especially seeing as though I'd already renewed it this summer. Do we need to renew every 6 months or something?
