I'm looking forward to this. Just having begun to informally organize the RAT Pack in Brevard County, Florida -- I find some interest, not a whole lot of activity yet. But, it will be good to knock around ideas. - Andy

Alaz:

The dealer should be able to help with the organizing and communicating - how involved are they?

Though Triumph keeps the RAT members list "close to the chest" for privacy purposes, the dealer usually has a database of local owners. If you or someone you know is handy with a computer, one thing that works well is to slap together a flyer and get the dealer to send it the the folks that have purchased Triumphs in the past year.

Our dealer has an open house every year. We had our first shin-dig there, introducing the pack and signing up 30 members in the process.

Another thought is to get business cards made. Free from VistaPrint.com

Ask your dealer to hand out you card with each new sale. also put them at the parts counter.

Another popular idea is to run a forum like this one. I am partial to Delphi forums like the one that we run, but Yahoo has a decent format, just not as organized.

Our Delphi Forum
