Advice needed, Pipe's

I would like to wrap my pipes with tape. It is only for esthetics and nothing else. I plan on leaving the stock pipes on for awhile for financial reasons. Has any one ever done this? Can you help by sending me written instructions on the how to do it?

Any and all help would be appreciated. Attached is a photo of the area I want to wrap. The arrows indicate the area's.

Thanks,

RR

It's a pretty straightforward process - you'll want to order a few of the specialized clamps for exhaust wrap then just wrap 'em as tight as you can.

The downside to exhaust wrap that I've heard (but never seen) if you ride in the wet they will stay damp and corrode the pipes... That may or may not be a real problem - especially because I've heard it in the context of cars, where the exhaust isn't always stainless like yours.

Keeping the wrap tight is the key, extra pair of hands is helpful. The wrap will dry quickly with the engine running corrosions not been a problem for the guys I know who have been running the wrap for some time now.
