I think the B17 boys would tell you that wasn't enough -- they liked it when they got electric gear -- as do I. Electric under coat (full sleeve) and electric gloves. Wire it up with the same size connector as your battery tender (oh, you don't do that where you can ride year round, co you?). I also got some Tiger (Steamer) hand guards and modified them to fit (might be enough for winter riding on its own). Reasonably unobtrusive on a TBS.

I wear a Cortech denim DSX without the liner when cool out, under 60 deg. Liner in when around 50 & under. When it's cold, in the low 40's, I break out the HJC leather jacket. An when it's really cold, 40 & below I snap in the HJC liner. My upper body is fine, but I need to find some electric pants at a reasonable price. I have some under armor to try this year until then.

Get any jacket you want. Just put an electric vest under it.

Other Motorcycle: I only got one...
it was 39 degrees outside on my ride in to work this morning here in Birmingham, and i somehow managed to only have cold fingertips when i arrived.

my getup was a simple black leather motorcycle jacket (no armor - old skool) on top of my summer leather riding jacket (lots of armor - new skool), plus lined sheepskin gloves and a scarf. long johns kept my legs warm-ish.

i was surprised how well this worked for me. eventually i'll get a real winter riding getup, but this performs very well in the meantime.

cheers!
