Does anyone know if a local-type store carries the 2" black and white checkered tape? I've got a plain white helmet that I'd like to dress up just a little and don't feel like ordering tape on-line as the shipping costs as much as the roll of tape does.

Would Target carry this?

Any other suggestions short of buying a new helmet?

Thanks

Check these folks out:Applied Graphics or StreetGlo

Both sell a variety of decals (including checker tape. Their stuff is all retroreflective - I have black 1/8" pinstriping tape that reflects silver at night. I applied it following lines that were already black on my helmet and it work great - several people I ride with have commented on the brightness of the reflection at night.

Put tape on

Great stuff. Really easy to apply and it looks duke! If anyone else gets this, I recommend cutting the decals up into 4-checker pieces and applying them that way as the curvature of the helmet doesn't match the template (why would it).
