I use a Cardo Rider with my Zumo 550 and Treo 650. I like it. I got a real good price on eBay.

hoter,

I work for a distributor that carries 6 different models of Bluetooth headset.

The best one will depend on your situation. If you are looking to do 2-up riding you can't beat the Cardo Scala Rider Teamset it will pair with the bluetooth device you have (phone/GPS) and also act as a full duplex rider passenger intercom. This is done with the included slave unit, what is really cool is that you can conference in the passenger or the passenger can be the one to take the calls and conference you in (which is likely safer)

The Blueant Interphone is a good product becuase it allows a two way full duplex intercom with another Interphone within 500 feet.

There is also a really nice product that we just released called the Camos/IMC, it does Bluetooth 2.0 which allows for higher transmission rates, and thus stereo bluetooth, so if you ever have any intention of doing music this would be the best headset for you. There is also a model that does intercom. I just started using this one and love it more than the other two, as my phone can stream stereo bluetooth and take calls, plus the speakers on it deliver great bass and treble.

Sorry to overwhelm you, but I have a lot of experience with these, so I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.

Cheers

I use this sony one:

not specifically designed for helmets, but works great !! The mic / body of the system clips nicely to the chin cover of my helmet. Hooks up to my zumo 550 and motorola cell phone perfectly. No problem using the phone, and loud enough to hear the music at speed. Battery life is about 15 - 20 hours.

WebBikeWorld had this to say about the Camos/IMC...

http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...ooth-intercom/

It looks good for me wanting to listen to tunes while riding, but what about bike-to-bike? If I'm reading the review correctly, the require a cell or BT-enabled FRS radio to do this?

Something that does what it says!!
I have had a motocomp INTERPHONE headset for about 6 months now. It works. Bike to bike, rider to pillion, telephone operation and satnav voice. On a motorway we get about 1/2 mile using bike to bike, about 6 hours battery life on bike to bike, and having accidently left it on in standby mode about 10 days.
Its waterproof and the speaker and mic fit well into both my helmets. Its the best gadget I've bought for the bike.
I got mine on special at the NEC mororcycle show, but I think the normal price is about £150.
But have broken a couple of Scarla riders by using them in the rain, this hopefully will save money in the long run.
