Anyone get these and try to install on a Thruxton yet? They're recommned by Triumph on their corp site under accessories/Thruxton/Luggage.

There are some extra tabs/plastic rings at the base of the panniers, these have straps aboout 12 inches long, the instructions dont say what to do with these. Are they supposed to attach to the frame some way, or the shocks (seems unlikely although possible)?

Let me know if anyone out there is using these. They actually look pretty decent on the Thrux and provide just the right amount of storage space.

I think all the sport paniers are the same, those straps hook in to some brackets on the frame on my rs and my wifes tt600,the thruxton may not need them ,although it may be a good idea to find a spot for them, but not the shocks, passenger peg brackets maybe?
hope that helps .
Jake

Hi,
On my Thruxton, the lower strap goes to the passenger foot peg.
Hope this helps

I had the dealer install Triumph panniers on my new Bonneville T100 as part of the purchase deal and the straps wrap around the chrome frames that were installed with the bags. Look great and just the right size for the Bonnie.

Great information! Thanks a bunch. I'll try it when I get home tonight.
