Have we lost the ability to make decent freakin gauntlets?

I picked up a pair of the Triumph all weather gloves the other day and never even though about how tight the sleeve is on it. This seems to be a prevelent problem with glove manufacturers nowadays. Short and tight. Do they even try wearing them with a jacket or do they give them just to their emaciated models? I can't even get the first one over the jacket sleeve. Trying to get the second one on with the gloved had is just silly.

*****. Thats a 100 bucks down the crapper.

These seem to be pretty decent but it looks like the same problem.

*edit* It blocked c rap. :-D

I had the same problem with my gloves a few years back. I could not get them on either. This did help save my a$$ though.

comment.

I find that whenever my gaulets don;t fit, the sleeve of my jacket is up to high. A properly fitting jacket will have a cuff that just covers the wrist.

On my leather jacket, the underside of the arm/cuff is longer than the upper side and whenI have the jacket on right, the cuffs work well.

I use the Triumph Perforated black leather glove with gaunlet and it is no problem with the leather jacket or the Stich suit.

I also use the Aerostich Elkskin gauntlet glove wiht no issue. I even worked with them to replace the rear fasten to velcro from a snap, so that the gauntlet can be secured over the jacket sleeve. ( it's nice to work with a company that listens to feedback and works with cust to make better products)

Go to a real Army/Navy store and get yourself a pair of black leather used Army gloves- the ones I mean are plain good quality leather shells made to go over wool OD gloves for warmth. They are short length (just past wrist) good for cool but not real cold driving-you could always get a larger size and liners for colder weather.
NOW the best part $5 bucks.

Go to Roadgear.com and look at the Ultras.
Long gauntlet with plenty of room.

+1 I've ridden with them for years. I have a pair of black ones and a pair of natural ones.
